Remington 760 Carbines ever made. It is is the elusive 5 Diamond Carbine in .308 Win. Caliber. The serial number is 368397 and the barrel date code is RG for November of 1960. This is one of only 518 ever produced and they rarely come up for sale. Condition is excellent as lightly used and well cared for over the years. Nearly all of its original blue remains with just some very light high edge wear. We rate the original blue at 95%+. The five diamond stock and carbine fore end are also excellent, with nearly all of their original finish and no cracks. The checkering is deep and crisp.  We believe that the sling swivels are factory installed, as these were part of the deluxe package. The original open sights are still there and in excellent shape. The bore rates near mint, at least a 9 out of 10. All the mechanics are smooth and this rare 760 carbine has obviously been fired very little. Mounted in a nice one piece Redfield base, is a vintage Weaver W 4.5-1 variable power scope. The power is 1.5-4.5 and it has clear optics with a duplex reticle. Comes with one correct and original .308 marked magazine. This is a very collectible and hard to find 760 Five Diamond .308 Carbine in excellent condition.
