The rifle received a brand new American Black Walnut "Type C" pistol grip stock that Mr. Pierce finished by hand with a traditional oil finish. The stock was hand fit to the original receiver which included steel bedding to increase accuracy and consistency from shot to shot. The trigger also received attention and was smoothed up and lightened quite substantially from its original condition.
